Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 September 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of Go2Dog, including profiles, dog profiles and records, community, messages, knowledge base, Smart Answer, AI Trainer, Academy, certificates, professional workspaces and Case Hub.
2. Account and security
You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping your password confidential and activity through your account. Abuse, fraud or circumvention of security is not permitted.
3. Content you provide
You remain responsible for text, photos, videos, documents, record information, replies and advice you add. You confirm you are entitled to use and share that content and that it does not violate others’ rights or privacy. You grant Go2Dog only the technical permission necessary to store, process and display that content within the features you choose.
4. Case Hub
An owner decides whether to share a case and which record sections are visible. Verified professionals may advise only within their own expertise. Case Hub advice is non-binding and does not by itself create a treatment relationship, diagnosis or guarantee of outcome. An owner can revoke shared visibility; information already received or lawfully retained may in some circumstances remain in technical backups or legally required records.
5. Professionals and verification
A verification badge means Go2Dog has checked certain profile or business information. It is not a guarantee of quality, licensing, availability, outcome or suitability for an individual situation. Professionals remain responsible for their qualifications, advice, client communication and statutory professional duties.
6. Knowledge, AI and Academy
The knowledge base, Smart Answer, AI Trainer, Academy and certificates are intended for information, learning and support. When internal Knowledge is insufficient, Go2Dog may consult external sources and add discovered knowledge to the database under controlled rules. Sources can change, be incomplete or conflict; source references and automated quality checks are therefore not a guarantee that information is error-free or suitable for every dog. Medical and other higher-risk information may require human review. These functions do not replace a veterinarian, qualified professional, diagnosis, treatment or emergency service. Go2Dog certificates confirm platform completion and are not statutory professional qualifications unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6A. Reliability and revalidation
Reliability scores and recheck dates help show the status of Knowledge, but they do not guarantee that information is error-free, complete or current. Go2Dog may recheck source links and consult public sources again. Professional assessment remains necessary for health, emergencies or safety risks.
6B. Smart next steps and growth features
Based on the current route or question, Go2Dog may show a suitable next step such as Knowledge, Academy, AI Trainer or a professional. These recommendations are navigation assistance and do not guarantee that a paid service, course or professional is suitable for every situation. A/B tests and referral measurement are used only to improve the Go2Dog user journey and do not create any right to a reward unless Go2Dog explicitly offers one separately.
7. Plans and payments
Go2Dog may offer Free, Plus, Professional Start and Professional. Current prices and included features are shown on the plans page. Paid plans are activated according to the displayed request and payment process. External payment providers may have their own terms. Go2Dog itself does not store bank or card data when payment is handled through an external payment link.
7B. Payment follow-up, pricing and professional matching
After a user-requested upgrade, Go2Dog may send a payment link and a reasonable reminder. A WhatsApp link is available only when a user-provided phone number exists; opening and sending it remains a manual admin action. Professional demand and supply signals are platform-management aids and do not guarantee assignments, revenue, reach or suitability. Go2Dog may recommend commercial opportunities but does not automatically change plan prices or terms.
8. Moderation and safety
Go2Dog may restrict or remove content and warn, block or close accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, platform rules or protection of other users.
9. Availability and changes
Go2Dog aims to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be changed, expanded, temporarily interrupted or discontinued. Where appropriate, material changes to paid features will be communicated.
10. Liability within the law
To the extent permitted by law, Go2Dog is not responsible for decisions, actions, meetings, treatments, purchases or other consequences a user bases solely on information from other users, professionals, community members or AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that mandatory law does not allow to be excluded.
11. Privacy
Processing of personal data is explained further in the Privacy Policy. Read privacy policy →
12. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated when the platform, services or law changes. The current version is published on this page. Use the Go2Dog contact options for questions.
13. Sponsorship and partners
A sponsorship application does not create a right to automatic publication. Go2Dog reviews applications manually and may reject, end or adjust placement where it does not fit the platform, user safety, applicable law or the chosen package terms. Sponsorship purchases visibility, not editorial influence, higher content assessment, medical or training endorsement, independent review or guaranteed reach. Sponsor mentions are clearly identified as partner or sponsor. Prices, term, placements and payment method follow the current sponsorship-management settings or the agreed confirmation. Displayed reach and click figures are informational aggregated platform metrics and do not guarantee future results.
Trust labels, helpful answers and moderation signals
Trust labels are informational platform signals and do not guarantee that advice is correct or appropriate for every dog. A verified professional or organisation is recognisable through the existing verification status. A calm established-contributor label may be shown after sufficient real contributions and only when no active community restriction applies. People asking a question may mark a reply as helpful. Automated signals for repeated advertising, spam or exceptional posting behaviour send content for human moderation; they do not automatically impose a penalty or substantive judgement.
